Oben Holding Group started working in 1991. The company produces high-quality polypropylene, polyester, and nylon films used for flexible packaging.

The company started its first BOPP line in Ecuador, followed by the first Thermoforming plant with an annual capacity of 3,000 MT and 1,200 MT. In 2005 the company installed three new distribution centers in Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina.

In 2008 the company set up the Group’s third plant in Argentina, while in Peru, a second BOPP line with a capacity of 30,000 tons per year and a 15,000-ton CPP line were installed. In addition, a 5,000-ton-per-year extrusion coating line was installed the same year.
